The First Snow
I find it appropriate that Ben was up first on the day of our first snow. Last Spring when the snow was finally gone and my sanity level was on its way to normal again (it was a VERY long winter...) Ben went outside and with great disappointment, stated that he wished it would snow (crazy, I know.) So Wednesday morning he and I went out before anyone else was awake to appreciate the first snowfall.

we totally beat you on the first snow fall!
Thats so great! I was overcome with a totally peaceful feeling to think of you two observing the snowfall before the rest of the family woke.
I am with Ben. I always look forward to it. I am usually on my own but this year Lily has joined me. She told be yesterday in a dissapointed voice that when she was 3 it didn't take as long to snow. :) Lately everything happened when she was 3.
oh that Ben! He has always just melted me into a big puddle. How sweet he is!
first snow falls always get me excited. we had snow a few weeks back - its gone now. as a kid i enjoyed the snow MUCH more. but my favorite part of snow as when it melted and MUD SEASON came!
As far as I know, we are still waiting for our first snow, but Jared's parents got 20 inches a couple weeks ago in Idaho!!
