Yesterday we had the porch door open and this hummingbird flew in. It was trying desperately to get out he closed windows. I was trying to guide it out with my hands. I get so close that I could feel the wind from his little wings on my hands. He finally landed and I got as close as I could to take a picture. Aaron took the window apart and he flew away. They are so amazingly small.

I love hummingbirds! We don't see them around here very often, but we had one out our window just the other day. I'm glad he got out safe and sound!
We think hummingbirds are the most amazing creatures. They come in the size of a black bird to a tiny quarter size coin, and the most beautiful collors.
We used to have many differente ones here, but they disapperead about 5 or 6 years ago, very sad.
We had feeders outside e enjoyed watching them come and go.
We are glad that we still have tons of them at our land in Brazil and we really enjoy watching them.
