Ooblek

While we had a cousin visit in October we made ooblek.  It is super messy, but SO MUCH FUN!  Totally worth the mess and it isn't too difficult to clean up.

Blizzard

In the wake of the recent blizzard, I am posting photos of the first snowfall from October 22nd.

We have a lovely bunch of chickens.  They lay all different colored eggs.  It is so much fun!

Although to my credit we have only permanently lost one pair and broken one pair.

State of Mind

Ok I need to accept that I love my blog, that it is important to me and that I want to post in it regularly.  It is a family journal and like my journal I should write in it frequently.  So despite the frazzled state of my mind, I will begin posting again.  I think I have decided that this is as important as my other daily habits of scripture, prayer and exercise.
